About the Event

The last few months have been stressful - the COVID, growing unrest in the world, the election season and so much more. The social settings have forced a lot of us to spend long hours at work, or use our mobile phones or tablets in leisure time way too much! Yes we know the feeling - this just leaves us drained, we feel something has sucked the life energy out of us.

With that in mind, we are organizing this 6 hour workshop - the Online Detox Program. Detox is not only for the body, it is equally if not more important for the mind. Come join this workshop where we will do refreshing Yoga, simple yet deep meditations that make you feel recharged and happy. There is no mandatory charge for the workshop, however we would deeply appreciate if you make a donation between $30 to $100 (any amount is good). The funds raised would be 100% donated to the Art of Living Retreat Center at Boone - A spiritual home for generations! The center is close to my Heart as I took my Meditation Teacher Training there, and have spent many calm, blissful moments here. We need more such centers today that can be a home for everyone looking for peace and calm, irrespective of religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual prefernce etc. - a space where one can just dissolve in the joy of the Self!

Agenda for the day:

10 AM to 10:15 AM: Introductions and settling down

10:15 AM to 10:30 AM: Learn a new breathing technique

10:30 AM to 11:30 AM: A gentle flow of simple yet powerful YOGA that ends with a soul touching Meditation - start getting refreshed

11:30 AM to 12 PM: A fun game on "the winner takes all"

12 PM to 1 PM: Lunch Break for challengers - can you have lunch and not use your phone? 

1 PM to 1:30 PM: A Meditation in which you are allowed to sleep :) and get the deep rest you never thought is possible 

1:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Learn about the energy centers in the body

2 PM to 2:45 PM: Chakra Meditation: A deep Meditation that refreshes and energizes

2:45 PM to 3 PM: Break

3 PM to 3:30 PM: Nature walk - take a stroll by yourself, in a manner you have never done before

3:30 PM to 4 PM: Meditate on your Being, and enhance and enlarge the perception of what you are - get fully rested!!

4 PM to 4:30 PM: Experience sharing and wrap up
